PonyUp4Kids is proud to offer equine-assisted services that may be eligible for reimbursement through New York State’s Medicaid Self-Direction program, managed by the Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). Families and individuals enrolled in Self-Direction can access our programs as part of their approved budget, allowing for meaningful therapeutic experiences without financial strain. We work closely with participants and their brokers to ensure services are properly documented and aligned with OPWDD guidelines.
PonyUp4Kids sessions are designed to support emotional regulation, trauma recovery, and social development—especially beneficial for autistic youth and adults, survivors of domestic abuse, and veterans. If you're navigating Self-Direction and want to include equine-assisted services in your plan, we’re here to help.
