Visionary Women Transforming Lives Through Healing Horses in Dutchess County, NY

In the rolling hills of Union Vale, New York, PonyUp4Kids Foundation is redefining healing, education, and community wellness through innovative equine-assisted programs. Led by a team of passionate women and guided by decades of equine expertise, the nonprofit brings hope, confidence, and connection to children, families, veterans, survivors of trauma, individuals in recovery, and people with special needs.

At the heart of PonyUp4Kids’ impact is Leah Struzzieri, a nationally recognized equine professional with over 40 years of experience. A lifelong horseperson and Union Vale resident, Leah’s background spans English, Western, and Driving disciplines, producing championship riders and horses at every level. Her career includes national recognition, Trainer of the Year honors, and leadership roles across state and national equine organizations.

Leah is a Senior Certified Equine Appraiser authorized by the IRS and FDIC and a trusted expert witness in equine litigation. Beyond accolades, her passion lies in mentoring youth, advocating for equine welfare, and creating programs that foster emotional growth and resilience through the horse-human bond.
