Step away from the chaos and into a quiet, grounding space with horses as your guides. This powerful equine facilitated wellness journey invites participants to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with themselves in a safe, reflective environment.
Led by a professional Horse and Human Connection Coach these sessions are designed specifically for you. Through mindful horse grooming, breathing exercises, intention-setting, and silent walking with horses, participants learn to observe their inner landscape without judgment.
You’ll explore how:
Breathing into your heart creates calm and clarity
Horses mirror us, showing what we can’t always see ourselves
Emotions like anger and grief can be met with healthy boundaries and space
Quiet moments with horses help re-pattern our nervous system
Participants explore and learn:
Patience and self-compassion
Build emotional awareness through touch and presence
Feel safe enough to feel — and begin to heal
This isn’t about horsemanship — it’s about humanity. Horses help us return to our breath, our truth, and a place where it’s okay to just be. Through these sessions, we lay the groundwork for a healthier relationship with self and others.
These sessions often provide great benefit to veterans, first responders, those in recovery and individuals experiencing post-traumatic stress. This equine facilitated wellness program provides a supportive, nonjudgmental environment for youth ages 10 and older who may be living in foster care, group homes, or facing behavioral and emotional challenges. Through gentle, guided interaction with horses — including grooming, walking, and observation — young participants learn self-awareness, communication skills, and how to identify and process their emotions in healthy ways. Horses offer powerful, nonverbal feedback that helps children feel seen, safe, and valued without pressure or expectation.
Agencies serving youth in care, therapeutic schools, and residential programs are encouraged to partner with PonyUp4Kids Foundation to coordinate visits or ongoing sessions that promote resilience, emotional growth, and positive connection.
