COOL CLUB is a site-based program offered at the PonyUp4Kids Foundation in Union Vale, New York, designed to support personal growth, connection, and confidence through hands-on experiences with horses.
The program focuses on key life-skill areas including self-care, personal safety, social skills, and communication development, all within a supportive, welcoming farm environment. Through structured activities and meaningful interactions with horses, participants learn responsibility, emotional awareness, cooperation, and self-expression.
COOL CLUB reflects PonyUp4Kids Foundation’s mission to harness the powerful connection between humans and horses while promoting animal welfare, education, and community well-being. Our programs create life-enriching opportunities for children, teens, adults, families, veterans, survivors of abuse, violence, and trauma, individuals in recovery, and people with autism and other developmental delays.
At COOL CLUB, horses help participants slow down, build trust, and develop skills that carry into everyday life—at home, at school, and in the community. Each experience is inclusive, person-centered, and designed to encourage confidence, independence, and meaningful connection.
COOL CLUB uses hands-on equine activities to build confidence, communication, and real-world life skills in a supportive farm setting. Working with horses encourages focus, emotional awareness, responsibility, and positive social interaction—helping participants develop independence, self-esteem, and meaningful connections that extend beyond the barn.
