At PonyUp4Kids, we’re pioneering a new frontier in therapeutic care—where rescued horses and resilient humans come together to spark healing, creativity, and purpose. Our programs are designed for neurodivergent youth, at-risk children, isolated seniors, veterans, survivors of domestic violence and abuse, individuals in recovery, and those with autism spectrum disorder or special needs. We welcome all ages, all abilities, and all walks of life.
PRIVATE AND GROUP SESSIONS AVAILABLE
Our Equine-Assisted Therapy sessions offer a transformative approach rooted in experiential psychology. By emphasizing personal experience, direct engagement, and emotional connection, we help individuals understand and reshape their behaviors, emotions, and inner processes.
This hands-on method invites participants to interact with horses in a safe, supportive environment. These interactions foster trust, emotional regulation, and self-awareness, especially for those navigating trauma, neurodivergence, anxiety, or life transitions.
Our sessions are guided by Dr. Grimaldi, PhD who integrates neuroscience, positive psychology, and body-centered techniques to create a holistic path to healing with equine co-facilitators. Whether you're a child, teen, adult, or senior, our equine therapy programs are designed to meet you where you are—and help you move forward, one hoofbeat at a time.
Our programs are designed for people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds, including:
We give new purpose to those often cast aside—humans and horses alike. Our rescued equines, once neglected, now serve as co-facilitators in a revolutionary model of care. Paired with participants navigating trauma, neurodivergence, or life transitions, they help foster emotional growth, trust, and empowerment.
At PonyUp4Kids, we offer weekly equine-assisted sessions in 30- or 60-minute blocks, tailored to meet the unique needs of children, tweens, teens, adults, veterans, first responders, and families. Our programs include private sessions, retreats, and workshops—all designed to foster growth, healing, and confidence through meaningful experiences with horses.
To get started, participants must be at least four years old and meet our height and weight guidelines. The admissions process begins with a simple phone call or email to explore whether our equine programs are a good fit for you or your loved one.
